Wolfgang Haider

As Process Owner Development and member of the Manufacturing Excellence Leadership Team Wolfgang is responsible for the technical development process of Borealis’ European manufacturing sites and represents Borealis in “Carbon2Product Austria” (C2PAT), a transformation project together with Lafarge, Verbund, and OMV.

He is Energy Engineer with more than 30 years of experience in leadership positions in the process industry in the areas of engineering / commissioning and start-up of process plants, plant availability, controlling, HSE, and site development.

Deepening of industrial cluster models as well as the development of concepts / programmes to safeguard Borealis’ leading position with specific focus on energy efficiency and sustainable asset care are key elements of recent and ongoing projects.
